Services to the Library Community

We have extensive knowledge of university libraries and of practices in document delivery and inter-library loan in the UK and internationally, derived from experience as a book and journal vendor at Blackwell, journal publishing at Carfax and membership of the UK Serials Group, the North American Serials Interest Group and from work with a variety of library consortia.

We frequently attend library conferences in the UK and Europe, USA, Australia etc, and undertake consultancy work for libraries and library consortia.

What is better for libraries than a consultant that knows the business from the supplier’s perspective and understands the not-for-profit orientation and service culture of academic, professional and corporate libraries? Libraries are creators of information products themselves. Our expertise lies in advising on the development of these products in an ethical and commercial framework to extend readership and generate revenue to be ploughed back into library services.
